Responsibilities

Lead the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
Develop detailed project schedules using Microsoft project or similar construction management software to track progress and milestones.
Oversee daily site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is executed efficiently.
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to maintain project scope and budget control.
Utilize Bluebeam for reviewing schematics, blueprints, and site plans to facilitate accurate execution.
Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and adjust schedules as needed for timely delivery.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including reports, logs, and records related to project milestones, safety incidents, and quality assurance.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Apply construction estimating techniques to forecast costs accurately and support bidding processes.
Use HeavyBid and HeavyJob for precise cost analysis during project planning stages.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
Extensive site experience with a solid understanding of construction site operations and safety standards.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft project, Bluebeam, HeavyBid and HeavyJob experience with Construction management software is essential.
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding technical drawings.
Familiarity with contracts administration, change management processes, and legal considerations in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques including critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
Expertise in construction estimating using HeavyBid or comparable tools for accurate cost control.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
Effective communication skills for coordinating teams and managing client expectations.
Certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP are preferred but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
