Title: Systems Architect

Location: 800 North Pearl St Menands, NY 12204

The consultant must be willing to report to work onsite in Menands NY.

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Proposal Response.

2. 6 years’ experience development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.

3. 6 years’ experience in designing infrastructure solutions like virtualization, Storage, Middleware, Cloud Infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code

4. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualification

1. 6 years’ experience in managing virtualization like Vmware, Openshift Virtualization, AWS EC2, AWS VPC

2. 6 years’ experience managing backups using Veeam, Veeam Kasten, AWS Backup Solutions

3. 6 years’ experience with managing high available infrastructure, use of load balancers, managing multi region data replication.

4. 6 years’ experience in performing monitoring and logging functions across multi region data centers and cloud solutions.

5. 6 years’ experience with Orchestration and infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
