Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with an architectural background to manage projects from start to completion.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, direct communication with general contractors and clients, and the ability to independently handle project responsibilities, including drawings, emails, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Manage communication with general contractors (GCs), clients, and vendors
Attend and actively participate in meetings (office and job site)
Visit job sites across New York as required
Independently handle and respond to emails, RFIs, and technical requests
Review and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely delivery
Monitor project progress and report directly to ownership
Manage project scope, changes, timelines, and costs
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
Ensure full understanding of each project before attending meetings or site visits

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (required)
2–5+ years of experience in construction or architectural project management
Strong AutoCAD skills (mandatory)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
Experience working with general contractors and architects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently write and respond to technical emails
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with glass or aluminum partition systems
Experience with shop drawings and construction coordination
Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
