We are looking for a Electrical Project Manager/Estimator. Come join the family.

Electrical Project Manager/Estimator duties include but are not limited to the following.

Electrical Project Managing Responsibilities

· Manage projects assigned to you from job walks, estimates, scheduling, job start to final walk with customer.

· Layout out leads on project and scope of work and provide support throughout projects

· Manage change orders for projects by preparing and submitting change orders for approval.

· Manage projects and support team to ensure projects are completed on time within hours.

Estimating Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints to determine the amount, type and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each electrical project.
Determine the amount of labor required to complete each project, broken down at the assembly level.
Determine the potential profitability of electrical projects to assist management in making bidding decisions.
Review and impact changes in design/installation requirements and complete and submit change orders estimates for projects as needed.
Work with management to assess project risk and leads times as well as how to increase project profitability.
Complete and submit management approved competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines.
Maintain and create, as needed, material items and their cost in customer service and estimating systems to reflect the ever-fluctuating material and labor costs.
Create and maintain assemblies/prebuilds in customer service and estimating systems.

The ideal candidate would have the following traits/skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A desire to learn and ability retain/apply what they have learned and apply that learning as needed.
Ability to stay organized with extreme attention to detail, follow through and timeliness
Take very detailed notes and decipher notes received by field technicians to complete change orders.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Computer literacy and ability to research information as needed
Team player with a willingness to jump in help with other duties as assigned
Excellent customer service skills

Requirements (in addition to desired skills/trades listed above):

Must have at least 5+ years’ experience managing electrical projects from beginning to end.
Preferred to have experience completeing electrical estimates for commercial and residential projects that met customers and employers desired margins.
Electrical foreman experience level or above preferred.
The ability to interpret blueprints (all aspects not just electrical)
McCormick estimating software experience is not required but preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check
Complete an in-person aptitude test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
