As we continue to grow, we're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead field operations and help shape the next chapter of our company.

The Role As a Project Manager at DBM Contractors you'll take full ownership of one major project or several smaller concurrent projects, managing everything from preconstruction planning and client relationships to field execution, budget, and closeout. You'll work closely with our Construction Manager and Project Superintendents and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a high-autonomy role with real impact. The decisions you make will directly influence project profitability and our long-term client relationships.

What You'll Do

Own project outcomes end-to-end: procurement, schedule, budget, quality, and safety

· Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; submittal preparation, application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability review.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers to keep projects moving smoothly

Partner with Project Superintendents to order materials and schedule deliveries, monitor field progress, identify risks early, and implement corrective action when needed
Develop and manage project budgets, track costs and revenue, and protect the company's financial interests without sacrificing client relationships
Prepare detailed cost estimates for assigned projects
Lead project meetings and represent the company with professionalism in client, subcontractor, and labor discussions
Collaborate on the development and implementation of project-specific safety and quality control plans
Work with the Construction Manager on staffing key field positions for your projects

What We're Looking For

Required:

5+ years of project management experience in construction (specialty or geotechnical construction preferred)
Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships independently
Strong financial acumen, comfortable with contract management, cost tracking, and forecasting
Excellent communication skills; able to influence and build trust with clients, crews, and subcontractors
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, or equivalent)
Willingness to travel regionally as projects require

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
Familiarity with WSDOT, King County, or other local agency permitting and project delivery processes
PE license or working toward licensure

Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
