Job Overview:

BlueLine Disaster Solutions, Inc. provides disaster restoration services throughout Central New York specializing in damages caused by Water, Fire & Smoke, Biohazard, Mold and Environmental Contamination.

We are expanding our Mitigation Department and are seeking to hire a motivated Team Leader for a growing team.

In this position, you will lead mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring efficient and high-quality restoration services. Your expertise will help clients recover quickly and safely, to a pre-loss condition making a tangible difference in their lives.

Potential candidates must have a positive attitude, leadership skills, communication skills, decision making abilities and personal accountability.

Responsibilities:

Provide clients with an Exceptional Client Experience
Respond to Emergency Service Calls
Perform detailed inspections to assess damages and develop effective response plans
Proven ability to lead teams, delegate responsibilities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and timely to industry standards.
Document project progress through detailed reports and communicate updates to clients and management
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians to uphold quality standards and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Must have a valid NYS Drivers License & Transportation
NYS Mold License
NYS Asbestos License
2+ years of hands-on experience in Asbestos Abatement.
IICRC Certifications or field or equivalent field experience.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, containment setup, and use of moisture meters, tools and equipment used in restoration work
Strong Time Management, Delegation, Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising or mentoring team members

Preferred:

Familiarity with project management software including Xactimate, Encircle, or Docusketch is preferred.
Prior experience with construction or building repair is highly desirable

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly
Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to work around various cleaning agents

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
