Duties

Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, unloading materials, and setting up equipment
Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks as needed
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools to ensure smooth workflow on-site
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper handling and maintenance
Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and safety signage around the site
Perform general cleanup duties to keep the worksite tidy and hazard-free
Support the installation of structures by holding materials in place or assisting with measurements as directed
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and project needs

Qualifications

Previous experience with painting, floor, tile, cabinet, or window installation, stucco, woodwork, electrical, or plumbing.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Basic understanding of construction safety practices; willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but training will be provided for motivated candidates
Valid driver’s license is necessary and you may transport tools or materials when necessary
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
