Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role involves supporting project planning, coordination, and execution across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in project scheduling, blueprint reading, with a solid understanding of construction site operations as well as strong communication skills.

Duties

Assist Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing projects within set timelines and budgets.
Assist in preparation of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
Track and report on project progress, indentifying areas for improvement.
Utilize office software to prepare presentations and reports
Facilitate project meetings and maintain detailed records of discussions and decisions.
Assist in managing project resources, including budget allocation and procurement.
Provide administrative support including drafting correspondence, proofreading documents, transcribing meetings and notes, scheduling meetings using Microsoft Outlook Calendar, and organizing project files.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and company policies.
Monitor and ensure the quality of project deliverables, escalating issues to the Project Manager as needed.
Assist in risk identification and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience in project support or coordination, preferably in fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated expertise in project coordination and calendar management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
Skilled in data entry, filing systems, proofreading documents, and handling confidential information with discretion.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Prior construction field work preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
